Warren County Public Works is excited to announce an online portal for electrical permitting. The portal will allow contractors to apply for electrical permits, request inspections, view inspection results including certificates and photos, and pay fees online.
As of July 1, 2021 all electrical permits must be applied for online via the portal. Paper or emailed applications will no longer be accepted. All inspection requests must also be requested via the portal.

Permits must be applied for at least 48 hours/2 business days before the desired day of inspection.
Electrical permit applications will have a review period of 48 hours / 2 business days, before being issued. Permits must be paid & issued before inspections will be provided. Please note that permit fees are due before inspections will be provided. If you have an outstanding balance, you may contact our office for payment details.
THE FOLLOWING ELECTRICAL INSPECTION FEES INCLUDE A ROUGH-IN AND FINAL INSPECTION ON CONCEALED WIRING INSTALLATIONS. FEES ARE LISTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SERVICE ENTRANCE CAPACITY AND INCLUDE BRANCH CIRCUITS, IF APPLICABLE:
Single Phase Small & Three Phase Commercial
FOR THREE PHASE — TWO (2) PERCENT OF ELECTRICAL CONTRACT INCLUDING LABOR & MATERIALS¹* FOR THE FIRST $100,000 & REMAINING AMOUNT AT ONE (1) PERCENT, OR $0.25 PER AMP ON MAIN SERVICE, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
¹*MATERIAL COSTS FOR CALCULATING INSPECTION FEE SHALL INCLUDE: SWITCH GEAR, SUB-PANEL, BOXES, FITTINGS, CONDUIT, WIRE, LIGHTING FIXTURES, MOTOR CONTROLS, ETC. (ITEMS NOT NECESSARY: MOTORS, BOILERS, AIR CONDITIONERS OR CHILLERS, COMPUTERS, PRODUCTION MACHINERY AND LIKE EQUIPMENT).
