Rex McWhorter is from Clinton County and came to BG in 1969 to go to WKU. He graduated from WKU in 1973 with a Agriculture degree. He met his wife, June, at WKU in the spring of 1970 and they married after college in 1973.
He started his career at Bowling Green Bank & Trust. He worked there for 5.5 years, then went to Federal Land Bank as branch Manager for 5.5 years, then went to Gary Force Inc. as a business manager. He worked for Gary Force for 12.5 years and then bought Residential Mortgage Corporation in 1997 where he served as a loan officer until he retired in 2021.
Rex is currently Magistrate of the 4th district and has enjoyed serving since January 2015. He has 4 wonderful children and has been very blessed by the good Lord for his family. Nicholas is an appraiser, Jeremy is a chiropractor, Dustin is a CPA, and Morgan is a stay-at-home mom.
